Surely you jest? (and stop calling me shirley). Do you mean jewellery that has been taken from people who owed money? Or jewellery from people who had it stolen and THEN seized?
My guess is it's repo-ed from deadbeats then sold cheap at this sale.
I always feel so sad when I see engagement and wedding rings for sale in those type of shops. I always wonder about the story behind it.
If you want, I could pick something up for you. You know, at a wholesale pric of course. :)
